Our Program
The USC Airway Intervention & Reconstruction Center (USC Air Center) brings together leading experts in otolaryngology, thoracic surgery and interventional pulmonology to treat patients with problems caused by narrowing of the airway passages, known as airway stenosis. This can develop as the result of trauma or injury from intubation, prolonged mechanical ventilation or tracheostomy tube placement, or systemic inflammatory or autoimmune conditions. Sometimes airway stenosis can be congenital or of unknown cause.
