Acute Sinusitis

Sinusitis is the inflammation of the sinuses as the result of an infection from a virus, bacteria or fungus. Sinusitis is “acute” when the symptoms last four weeks or less.

Symptoms include bad breath, loss of smell, coughing, fatigue, fever, headache, pressure-like pain, pain behind the eyes, nasal stuffiness, nasal discharge and postnasal drip.
