Pillar® Procedure

Pillar® Procedure

Our surgeons were among the first in the country to have performed the Pillar® procedure to treat snoring. They are considered experts in determining whether someone is a good candidate for this procedure.

In this minimally invasive, in-office procedure, typically three to five implants are inserted into the soft palate (the back of the roof of the mouth) to stiffen the soft palate. This reduces the ability of the soft palate to flutter during sleep and produce snoring. The Pillar® procedure is performed under local anesthesia, and patients can return to work quickly after the procedure.
